Harrietville, New Workshops, Renovations and more.....

Wow time just seems to be flying by. It's been almost two months since we were in Harrietville.

We had so much fun again this year, with such a lovely group of ladies. It's always wonderful to see familiar faces, but it is just as nice to meet our virgins and even better to see their eagerness to return. This year we had almost the whole group sign up to return in 2020.

While the weather was a slight bit brisker than previous years, we still managed to enjoy the surrounds, get A LOT of sewing done and join in on all the frivolities.

Harrietville 2020 is full up with a waiting list starting to grow.

If you are Direct Debiting it is imperative you start your payments now in July.

Since Harrietville we've had a couple of WOW (What's on at Wandong gatherings) where we've welcomed new members to the Wandong group, had some health scares and finished off a couple of workshops.

A reminder of the WOW dates which are available on the FB Page and the Website. These will not be the same Friday every month.

Friday August 16th

Friday Sept 13th

Friday Oct 11th

Friday Nov 8th

Friday Dec 6th

Fay and Graham are about to start renovations, so we hope to see a new in2quilting shop/workroom, along with a wet studio in which Fay can start her fabric dying workshops.

Fay has started planning new workshops which she hopes to announce, after the upcoming workshops in Wangaratta and Boosies Creek.

Fay also hopes to run some more Construction days and perhaps a Snuggly Quilt day. More information on those to follow.

Very soon there will be a presentation of the $2,000 raised through our raffles to the Dementia Group. This will be followed with $2,000 to the Royal Children's Hospital before the year is out at the rate we are going. At the last WOW gathering we unanimously agreed to make $2,000 the amount to work towards for each charity chosen. Well done ladies.

It's never too late to join Grunge club and there is no need to come to Wandong in order to join. You can have your Grunge mailed to you ie.

4 x 25cm x 112cm = $25.50 inc postage

4 x 30cm x 112cm = $30 inc postage

1/2m = $44 + postage

1m $88 + postage

This is such a versatile fabric. And with Fay planning workshops around the Grunge range of Fabrics why not take another look at Grunge.

To see Fay's full range check out our Grunge club page on the website.
