Hi and a very Merry Christmas to all my in2quilting friends. I can hardly believe that I am sending out Christmas cheers . I feel as though I have not long set the plans for 2016, let alone now doing them for 2017. In saying that, what a year 2016 was for all at in2quilting. We had a productive year at WOW, with workshops and sit and sew. When you look back on the gallery photos , you can see all that was achieved by our attendees. You really are a very talented group of quilters.

We also have used our monthly meetings to raise funds for this year’s charity which is the Alzheimers Foundation. What a lot of fun that has been each month. Seeing what great prizes are on offer and the delight as winner’s collect their prizes. Again I have to say what a very caring and sharing group of ladies contribute to this effort each month. Thank you all.
Our annual Harrietville Retreat was a really fun 5 days, filled with tons of laughter and a huge output of creative works being completed. Once again we were really spoilt with great attention from the staff at the venue. The frivolities just went from one day to the next. I cannot wait for this year’s retreat. We have a few new enrolees this year to join us. There are still vacancies for anyone who would like to get away and have 2 to 5 days of fun, frivolities, wining, dining and of course sew as much as your care to do.
Planning for 2017 is already underway, with our first workshop happening in January, when we meet for our first WOW. I also have listed for future workshops, Strip pieced Hexagons by machine, Hawaiin Quilts, Fabric dying,painting and printing workshops and a few others later for the year, that have not been announced as yet. The “Hands On” group will also be gathering this half year to start their work on Millefiori quilts.
It will be Busy, Busy, Busy. But I Love it, Love it, Love it.!!
